Music and Choir
"When you sing you pray twice"
Since its formation in 1890, the choir has played a key role in leading worship at St Edmund’s.
Practice every Thursday from 19:00-20:30, is followed by a social time in the crypt. A Sunday rehearsal at 10:30 acts as a warm-up for the morning service.
The choir also sings at special services such as Evensongs and, of course, the Nine Lessons and Carols at Christmas.
New members are always welcome!

You might even catch the choir singing at our annual Christmas Bazaar
Concerts given by local musicians are regularly held at the church - see full details on our Facebook page.
